Due to forehand handout of start packages
2011-08-18We inform that start packages can be picked up beforehand at “100%sports” shop, which is located in shopping centre “Panorama”, Saltoniškių street 9, Vilnius. Hobbyists (amateurs) and children heat participants may pick their start packages on August 19-20th (Friday and Saturday) from 10:00 to 16:00, sport group participants – from 11:00 to 16:00.
Participants won’t be able to pick up start packages beforehand will be able to do it at the place of start on Sunday.
We remind that participants younger than 18 years of age must deliver signed acceptance of parents or foster-parents.
Forehand start order is available
2011-08-18We inform that forehand start orders for sportsmen/sportswomen and hobbyists (amateurs) as well as list of “RIMI children heat” participants are available. You may find it in “For participants” section on the website.
Participants who registered few days before the start but didn’t find their name in the start order should know that their name will be added shortly in the updated start order.
Paid registration has begun
2011-08-15We inform that registration to “Velomarathon” paid from now on. Every participant registered from August 15th will have to pay 50 Lt starting fee. Everyone who registered earlier then August 15th will not have to pay starting fees.
Special prizes for most accurate guesses
2011-07-29Vilnius “Velomarathon” organisers together with general partner “Swedbank” offer all “Facebook” users to try their luck and guess how many participants will register to the marathon this year. Last year more than 2700 cyclists have registered and it is very likely for this number to grow much more!
You may guess the number of participants at the official “Facebook” page of the “Velomarathon” until 10th of August, 11:00.

Free registration to “Velomarathon” has begun
2011-07-05“Velomarathon 2011” will start on 21st of August, Sunday in the heart of Vilnius – capital of Lithuania. For a second year in a row this successful event invites cyclists to register during the free registration period. Free registration will last until August 15th – later it will be possible to make a registration with entry fees only.
Having won prestigious “Lithuanian Sports Event of the Year 2010” in its debut year, “Velomarathon 2011” is going to be even more attractive.
Testimonial for “Velomarathon” organizer
2011-05-25A testimonial by Vilnius city municipality was presented for the organizer of the first Vilnius “Velomarathon” – National automobile club director Benediktas Vanagas. A testimonial for the initiative and creation of the new healthy lifestyle traditions was presented by the Deputy Mayor – Gintautas Babravičius. “Velomarathon” consisted of three different heats for children, hobbyists and sportsmen/sportswomen that attracted more than two thousand cycling enthusiasts from all around Lithuania and foreign countries.
